How to Open a Right-Click Menu on a Chromebook
What you need: A Chromebook that you have signed in to, with its built-in touchpad. An internet connection.
Steps
- Click Launcher, the circle at the lower-left corner of the screen. To click, slide one finger on the touchpad to move the pointer onto it, then press the lower half of the touchpad once and let go.
- Type Chrome, then click Chrome in the results.
- Click the long address bar at the top of Chrome. Type stepsonscreen.com, then press the Enter key on the right side of the keyboard.
- Move the pointer onto a word in a line of plain words.
- Press the touchpad with two fingers together, then lift them. A menu of choices opens beside the pointer.
- To close the menu without choosing anything, click once on an empty part of the page, away from the menu and the words. The menu closes.
Expected result: The menu opened and then closed.
