How to Undo a Typing Mistake on a Chromebook
What you need: A Chromebook with Chrome open on a web page with a box where you were typing and made a change you did not want.
Steps
- Stop typing when you notice the change.
- Click inside the box where the change happened.
- Hold down Ctrl, near the lower-left corner of the keyboard. While holding it, press Z once, then let go of both keys. The most recent change is reversed.
- Look at the text. If the unwanted change is not fully reversed, hold Ctrl and press Z again, then let go of both keys. Repeat until the text is as you want it, then stop: each further press reverses an earlier change.
Expected result: The unwanted typing change has been reversed.
