How to Look for a Downloaded File in Downloads on a Chromebook

What you need: A Chromebook and a file you recently downloaded. These steps check Downloads.

Steps

1. Click Launcher, the circle at the lower-left corner of the screen.
2. Type Files, then click Files in the results to open it.
3. On the left, click Downloads, under My files. If you do not see Downloads, click My files on the left, then double-click the Downloads folder in the list.
4. Look through the names for your file. Scroll down to see more names. If you find it, click it once.

Expected result: Downloads is open and you have checked it for your file.
