What Does Choose File Mean?

Choose file is a website button that lets you select a file from your computer. Selecting the file is a separate action from sending the form.

What it looks like

The selected file’s name usually appears beside the button. A form may then ask you to click a button such as Submit, Send or Upload; its confirmation tells you the form was sent. Some websites upload as soon as a file is chosen, so read the words beside the button before choosing.
