How to Check How Much iCloud Storage Is Used on an iPhone

What you need: An iPhone that shows your name at the top of the Settings app.

Before you begin: iCloud storage is space in your Apple account on the internet. It is separate from the storage inside the iPhone, so the amounts in these steps are not the iPhone's own storage.

Steps

1. On the Home screen, tap Settings, the gray icon with gears. Settings opens.
2. Tap your name at the top of Settings.
3. Tap iCloud.
4. Near the top of the screen, find Storage (it may say Account Storage). Beside it or under it is a bar and words such as 4.1 of 50 GB or 4.1 GB of 50 GB used. The first amount is the iCloud space in use. The second is all the iCloud space your account has.

Expected result: You can see how much of your iCloud storage is used and how much your account has in all.
